Automation of business processes with BizTalk and Sharepoint

The objective of Voith IT Solutions was the continuous electronic mapping of business processes for the Voith Group (from A as in accounting to Z as in zero stock). Data is recorded in electronic forms, routed according to the entered process and provided electronically to the participating addressees for processing.

Solution

On the basis of an architecture derived from BizTalk Server for process control, from Infopath for form development and from Sharepoint Server for providing documents to the participating employees, QUIBIQ supports Voith IT-Solutions in the continuous conversion of existing workflows to the new solution. For the purpose, the business processes are electronically mapped on the basis of specifications and carried over to the new BPM architecture.
