RENK AG introduced Microsoft CRM in the scope of the optimisation of its customer-oriented processes. In order to keep the data on customers, products, prices, etc. there up to date, the CRM system was to be synchronised with SAP. Vice versa, business documents were then to be seamlessly transferred from CRM to SAP for further processing in the course of order processing. For RENK AG, this thereby closes the sales cyclefrom initial contact with the interested party in CRM to invoicing in SAP and updating the transaction view in CRM
The CRM integration solution QUIBIS CRM based on BizTalk Server was used at RENK to couple SAP and CRM in a lean and efficient way. Just how flexible the basic architecture of QUIBIS CRM is with respect to expandability was soon apparent upon integrating additional systems (e.g. Sharepoint).
